Why is my package showing "In Review"?
"In Review" means your package has arrived and our system has scanned it. This is a normal, automated part of our process โ most packages pass through it without any action needed from you.
What happens during "In Review"
When your package is first scanned at the loading dock, our OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system:
- Links it to your account โ reads the tracking number and your Unique ID from the label
- Captures the details โ sender, courier, tracking number, dimensions, and weight. A photo of the shipping label is usually added to your account at this stage
- Prepares your customs paperwork โ pulls item descriptions and values from the retailer's label or your uploaded invoice
- Runs a safety check โ screens the package against our prohibited and restricted items lists to flag potential issues early
The two stages
- Initial scan (In Review): Your package is checked in. You can see the label photo and weight, but the box stays sealed.
- Physical processing: A team member opens the box, inspects the contents, and completes the final scan.
Tip: Uploading your purchase invoice is strongly recommended for all warehouses, and is required at our USA (Delaware) warehouse. Upload it as soon as possible โ ideally before your package arrives โ and we'll match it to the physical items during the final scan. This helps your package avoid getting held at "Waiting for Information" later. See How to upload your invoice for steps.
Why is my package still "In Review" after 24 hours?
If your package has been in this status for more than 24 hours, it's usually one of these reasons:
- The label couldn't be read โ if it's smudged, torn, or missing your Unique ID, a team member has to verify and enter the details manually
- No invoice uploaded (required at our USA / Delaware warehouse) โ review can't be completed until a valid purchase invoice is uploaded
- Possible damage โ if the package looks damaged, review is paused so we can document it and notify you before continuing
- Possible restricted or dangerous goods โ if something is flagged, the package stays in review for a manual safety check by our specialist team
What should I do?
- Check your account and email for any notification asking for an invoice, and upload one if requested
- Upload your invoice before your package arrives next time โ required for USA, recommended everywhere else โ to skip the manual data-entry queue
- If none of the reasons above seem to apply and it's been more than 24 hours, contact our Customer Experience team
Once physical inspection is complete, we'll email you to confirm your package is Ready for Shipping.
