As of March 3, 2026, the Weimar warehouse is officially "off the grid" for this service.
No Pickups: There have been no package collections at the Weimar site since March 2, 2026.
Automatic Refusal: Any delivery attempted at the old address now will be refused at the door and sent back to the retailer/sender.
Outside of Process: forward2me cannot "track down" or claim a package once it has been sent to the old Weimar location.
What You Need to Do Now
Update Your Address Books: Log into your favorite German and European online shops (Amazon.de, eBay, Zalando, etc.) and delete the Weimar address immediately.
Use the New Address: Replace it with the forward2me warehouse address provided in your account dashboard or the attachment mentioned in their notice.
Intercept Pending Orders: If you have an order currently in transit to Weimar, contact the carrier (DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc.) or the seller immediately to see if you can redirect the shipment or initiate a "return to sender" so you can re-order to the correct facility.
Why the Change?
myGermany has ceased operations, and forward2me has taken over the management of all accounts and logistics. This move is part of a consolidation to streamline shipping and provide better service, but it requires users to be proactive about where they send their goods.
If a package is returned to a sender, you will likely need to wait for the merchant to process the return and issue a refund before you can purchase the item again using your new address.
