What is the difference between consolidation and combine and repack?

Forward2me offers two package forwarding services allowing you to ship multiple items from our  warehouses. These are our combine & repack service, and our package consolidation service. 

Combine & Repack

• Cost: €3/£3$3
• How it works:
  ✔️ Bulky or unsuitable retailer packaging is removed
  ✔️ Items are combined into one specially designed package
  ✔️ Choose either repack safety or savings 
  ✔️ Ideal for saving on shipping costs
  ❌ Not available for Lite or Cross Border services

Repack Safety 🛡️📦🔹

Goal: Minimize movement & reduce damage risk
🔹 How it works:
✅ Keeps manufacturer & product packaging whenever possible
✅ Discards retailer packaging if needed
✅ Best for high-value, collectibles, fragile, or resale items
✅ Choose Protect + for additional guarantee

Securely packed with cushioning, ensuring minimal movement

Repack for Saving 💰📦

🔹 Goal: Reduce empty space & lower shipping costs
🔹 How it works:
✅ Combines items into fewer boxes
✅ Retailer packaging is discarded
✅ Manufacturer packaging may be discarded (at forward2me’s discretion)
✅ Ideal for maximizing cost efficiency

 Smaller, more compact packaging for lower costs

Package Consolidation into One Large Box

• Cost: €3/£3/$3
• How It Works:

✔️ Original outer shipping boxes are removed to save space.
✔️ Manufacturer’s packaging (plastic bags or product boxes) is kept intact.
✔️ All items are consolidated into one large box for cost-efficient shipping. If everything doesn’t fit, we’ll use an additional box.
✔️ Our packing team ensures secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Package Consolidation

• How it works:
  ✔️ All packages are shipped under one Master airway bill
  ✔️ Retailer packaging remains intact
  ✔️ Packages may stay separate and ship as is.
  ✔️ Packer decides the safest and most cost-efficient option
