Dual-use goods are products, software, and technologies designed for civilian use that can also be repurposed for military, intelligence, or destructive applications. Because they can be weaponized or used to suppress human rights, their international trade is heavily regulated by export controls. Shipping them requires a special export license that we aren't able to obtain.
If your package has been marked as dual-use, it means it falls into this regulated category and we're unable to forward it internationally.
Examples of dual-use goods
These can include GPS and satellite technology, certain drones, night-vision and thermal-imaging equipment, specific ball bearings and precision aluminium components, and chemical, biological, or nuclear-related tools and technology.
What are my options?
If we can't ship your item internationally, we can:
- Return the goods to the retailer, free of charge
- Dispose of the items, free of charge
- Ship locally with customer prepaid label or offer domestic shipping
