Why does my package require a PIN or One-Time Password (OTP)?
Some high-value retailers (like Amazon or DPD) require an extra layer of security for deliveries. They issue a unique PIN or OTP to ensure the package is handed over to the correct person or authorized location.
Where do I provide my Amazon/DPD OTP?
You should enter the OTP directly into your customer portal account under your package inbox/details as soon as you receive it from the retailer.
How does the delivery driver get my OTP?
Once your package status changes to "Out for Delivery", our team will access the OTP you uploaded to the portal and provide it directly to the Amazon or DPD driver to complete the secure handover. We have TV screen on the door to show all the OTP's.
I already uploaded my OTP to the portal. Do I need to do anything else?
No further action is needed! Our Warehouse team will verify the OTP you provided on the portal and handle the verification with the courier when they arrive.
What happens now that the delivery failed because of Delivery attempted โ One Time Password Not Available?
Because the delivery was marked as a failed attempt, Amazon's system is automatically programmed to reset the shipment. The package goes back to the local Neubrandenburg fulfillment station tonight and will be sorted for re-delivery.
Can I use the same One-Time Password (OTP) tomorrow?
No, do not use the same code. Amazon OTPs are security-sensitive and are typically only valid for a single day.
What to do: Check your email or the "Track Package" section of your Amazon app tomorrow morning to get your brand-new 6-digit code.
When will they try to deliver my package again?
The courier will automatically make a second delivery attempt on the next working day (likely tomorrow, Thursday). You do not need to book a new slot; it will automatically join the driver's route.
What should I do if the driver's app glitches again tomorrow?
If you give the driver the new 6-digit code tomorrow and their scanner still rejects it, ask them to use the Backup Verification Method.
How it works: Drivers have an alternative option built into their delivery app. Instead of the 6-digit OTP, they can manually enter the last two digits of the phone number registered to your Amazon account to release the package.
What if the package doesn't arrive tomorrow?
If your tracking status doesn't change to "Out for delivery" by mid-morning tomorrow, contact Amazon Support immediately via chat or phone. Tell the agent: "The driver's app had a sync error with my OTP yesterday. Please flag this order for immediate redelivery."
